Raising a family, taking care of aging parents, working, trying to stay healthy, it is easy to get overwhelmed by the needs in our community. There are so many worthy non-profits, deciding where to focus can be daunting. Naming my art and design business, "Create For The People" was my attempt to touch on a couple of my priorities; creating art that could somehow benefit others. I have enjoyed fulfilling these goals in creative ways, from using sales from exhibits to fill up Costco carts with goods for YOTO, having a hot dog lunch buffet outside of Casa Maria and donating art to a zillion silent auctions. Recently, I decided to pick 10 artworks from a series I just completed, "50 Tucson Portrait Stories" and donate their profits to 4 local charities.
